Mirrorbox Theatre's second annual NiBeSaPaDaPaSo event celebrates Irish storytelling and music with a nod to Cedar Rapids' beloved long-running parade - it's the Night Before SaPaDaPaSo.
This year's event will feature a world premiere dramatic reading titled "Irish Legends," written and directed by Mirrorbox Artistic Director Cavan Hallman.
This includes classic legends of fairies, changelings, and leprechauns, and poetry by W.B. Yeats, interpreted by local actors, including Matthew James and Bob Mussett. These epic stories and poems are paired with Irish folk songs, performed on the cello by Lucy Conroy.
Performances will take place at Mirrorbox Theatre, 1200 Ellis Blvd. Cedar Rapids, 52405.
