Your Arrival

Doors to the building open no later than 1 hour prior to the performance start. Refreshments are available for purchase and may be enjoyed at our lobby bar or on the outdoor patio (weather permitting). Doors to the seating area typically open 30 minutes prior to performance start time. Seating is general admission for all Mirrorbox performances, unless otherwise noted.

Late Seating

Due to the intimate nature of the venue, Mirrorbox is unable to accommodate late arrivals. Guests exiting the building once the exterior doors have closed for the performance will not be able to re-enter until intermission (if applicable) or at the end of the performance.

Refunds | Exchanges | Cancellations

All ticket sales are final and there are no refunds or exchanges.

In the event of show cancellation, we will notify guests as quickly as possible. Guests will be given the opportunity to move their tickets to another date of the same production at no additional cost, pending ticket availability.

If a show is cancelled and a guest is not able to attend any of the remaining performances, they will be issued a Square gift card that can be redeemed at a future Mirrorbox performance.

Parking

A limited number of parallel parking spots are available on the south side of the building. One wheelchair accessible parking space is available at the rear of the building (enter via alley). If you need assistance entering through the rear, please call 319-200-1269 on arrival.

Ample street parking is available on K Avenue, both east and west of Ellis Blvd, as well as on 8th St. NW and throughout the neighborhood. As this is primarily a residential area, please be respectful of our neighbors on arrival and upon exiting, being careful to not block any driveways.

Please do not park on Ellis Blvd. or the city-owned grass lot across the street - the City of Cedar Rapids will tow your vehicle.

Food and Drink

No outside food or drinks are permitted other than refillable water bottles. Mirrorbox sells a variety of packaged snacks and beverages, including: soda, craft beer, wine, canned cocktails, and more. Refreshments purchased at Mirrorbox may be brought into the seating area and also enjoyed on our outdoor patio (weather permitting).
